Huntersville police are asking for help in finding a wanted man. He is Mark Lynch, 33, and he is wanted in South Carolina, Georgia and Virginia on outstanding warrants.

4 injured in overnight car wreck in northwest Charlotte

Wednesday morning, Medic and Charlotte firefighters responded to a pin-in accident on Mount Holly Huntersville Road. Medic says the two car wreck sent four people to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Off-duty Huntersville officer killed in car accident

An off-duty Huntersville police officer died in a car accident Monday morning. Officials with the N.C. Highway Patrol say Det. Kimberly Nesbitt was killed at around 6 a.m. on Lowrance Road.

A Huntersville police officer crashed a patrol car into a car wash Friday morning after swerving to miss another vehicle during a pursuit. Medic took one person to Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville with minor injuries.
